Whats On

  • Caring for our planet in your own backyards

What great community support we had for the sessions in August and September learning about Indigenous landcare, our Yarra River, plant propagation and creating our own raingarden and frog habitat. August  – Caring for our waterways We learn about how raingardens help to care for our rivers, indigenous landcare and what you can do to help in your own backyard! September –  Bringing our care for the planet into our own space Hands on steps to make a difference. We learnt how to build a raingarden, propagate plants and learnt how to create a frog habitat for our home. There were also plenty of other ways to be involved in this great project –  painting your own peace pole, painting a stone for dry creek bed, kids’ eco play.   Contact and more information: Ken Keam 0407 839 718, or Email: warrandyte.uca@gmail.com Brought to you by Riverflow Peace, Warrandyte Uniting Church and supported by WarrandyteCAN, With thanks to the Community Bank Warrandyte and Manningham Council for financially supporting this community project.
